We’re shaking off the lockdown blues and giving Miss Rona a kick up the jacksie with an all singing, all dancing festival for 2021.  Celebrate Everything – the digital edition launches on International Women’s Day March 8 with a life affirming cultural explosion featuring ground breaking artists from right across the spectrum.

The work will be made & broadcast from Base Camp with the first wave of activity celebrating the amazing way women have negotiated lockdown.   There will be new work, established artists working in new ways, one off collaborations and some proper antics to put a smile on your face.

Each day for a week, we’ll be screening a performance, an exhibition, a Zine or a film.  Check out our socials or check back here to access the festival.

The festival continues throughout March and April with a wild assortment of pop up content.  There’s even a recipe book being published – The Art of the Crisp Sandwich with viral crisp sandwich guru Ben Taylorson.    And from June, Celebrate Everything will blossom into a fully fledged real world bi monthly festival.

Celebrate Everything – the digital edition is part of the Reconnecting Communities project.  Reconnecting Communities is a Great Place Tees Valley project, created to help Tees Valley cultural venues rebuild and strengthen connections with local communities and audiences during the COVID 19 pandemic.  There’s no way in the world that this festival could have happened without this support, so big thanks to them for lending a hand at this tricky time.

Vegan & veggie street food, platters & more served every Friday and Saturday from midday to 7pm.  Look out for loaded dogs, banging burgers & vegan shwarma. Plus Kelly’s famous vegan cocktail menu.
